Born and raised in Columbus, New Jersey, Drew was first shown photography by his father at the age of 9. Soon after Drew was in love and had purchased an old 35mm Minolta with a 50mm prime lens He joined a 4-H group where he learned the specifics on different photographic techniques which gave him the ability to experiment and improvise. While shooting with both film and early digital, he constantly reopened his eyes to new and different styles of capturing objects. His passion led him into the design field where he completed his Associates and began working on his Bachelors with a major in Graphic Design and a minor in Photography. Acquiring numerous awards in both fields in school he excelled gaining respect and admiration from peers and professors alike. When Drew eventually purchased a digital SLR he realized that he could combine his knowledge in graphics and he knowledge in photography together to give people the refined edge to their photographic needs,
